Kona Dream Builds: Richards 2019 Wozo

Richard Hammond’s 2019 Kona Wozo is a fatbike built for adventure. Every detail on this bike is dialed for long rides, gnarly trails, and those moments when you just can’t stop pedaling. From climbs to descents, it’s ready to tackle anything winter, or any terrain, throws its way.

Richard's Wozo is propelled by a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain with a 34T chainring, it's mated to an E13 9-52 cassette, and a XX1 chain keeps power delivery smooth and responsive. Up front, a Manitou Mastodon Comp 100mm fork handles bumps, roots, and snow with ease.

Stopping power comes courtesy of SRAM Guide R brakes with 200/180mm Centerline rotors, perfect for technical terrain. Woven F775 wheels, built on Industry Nine Fatbike Classic hubs with Sapim Race spokes, are paired with Terrene Yeppeekayy 4.3” front and CakeEater 4” rear tires to tackle snow, sand, and everything in between.

Richard’s cockpit is built for control and comfort: OneUp carbon bars, Ergon grips, and a OneUp 210mm dropper with remote make every trail approachable. Add an Ergon SM saddle, Wolftooth seatpost clamp, CrankBrothers Mallet pedals, and Outrider internal tire pressure monitors, and you’ve got a bike that’s as dialed as it is fun to ride.
