We never get tired of seeing a well-thought-out Process Dream Build—especially when it’s a G3 153 like Jud’s. Hailing from Quebec, this rig isn’t flashy for the sake of it. Instead, every part was handpicked for reliability, performance, and clean lines. It’s a true rider’s build, and we’re here for it.
Jud has kicked things off by upgrading the bike's drivetrain from the stock SRAM GX Transmission to the slightly lighter weight and more durable SRAM XO Transmission. The original XO cassette remains.
Up front, the XO treatment continues with an XO 165mm crankset and chainring, a bash guard from Canadian company Black Spire protects Jud's upgrades.
For suspension, Jud has stuck the Rock Shox Lyrik Ultimate fork up front but out back he's gone for a coil in the form of a RockShox Vivid Coil Ultimate with an adjustable Sprindex 500-550lbs spring.
The G2 Guides are gone, replaced with SRAM's most powerful brake offering, the Maven with 200mm HS2 rotors front and rear, In limited edition Teal Splatter.
For hoops, Jud has chosen a RaceFace Turbine Mullet set-up laced to Race Face Vault hubs, these are shod with a Maxxis Assegai DD MaxxGrip 29x2.5" WT up front and a High Roller II DD MaxxTera 27.5x2.5" WT out back.
Up in the cockpit, a Title ST1 stem holds a carbon OneUp 670x35mm handlebar in place. ODI Elite lock-on grips ensure hands are staying put, and a OneUp lever is chosen to operate the matching 210 V3 Dropper post.
The build is rounded out with a super rad SGD Bel-Air V3 saddle in Leopard print, a set of WahWah II Composite pedals and a OneUp 70cc EDC Pump and in line mount.
