Kona Dream Builds: Graham Beaumont's one of kind Honzo ESD

Fresh out of the Fine Tune Cycles paint booth, this Honzo ESD is an unmistakable reflection of long-time Kona aficionado Graham Beaumont. Painted with a celadon-to-Primrose Hill fade and topped with fluro pink, purple, and black splatter, the frame is finished with a gloss clearcoat and Ride Wrap protection. With top-shelf parts from Hopetech, Burgtec, Rock Shox, OneUp Components, and Race Face, it’s every bit as wild and dialed as Graham himself.

Graham's ESD build is a mix of new and used parts. The drivetrain is a prime example of this, with old RaceFace cranks with a nice new Absolute Black chainring mated to a single-speed setup.

Hope Pro 5 hubs are laced to Hope Fortus rims for a bulletproof set of wheels, they are wearing Maxxis shoes in the shape of Minion DHR II out the back and an Asegai up front.

There's more Hope CNC'd goodness in the form of Tech E4 four piston brakes.

There are more used parts, like this Arundel stainless bottle cage.

The Fine Tune Cycles crew crushed it with the paint. Using the finest paint from Spray Bike, starting with their metal primer, followed by a fade from Celandon into Primrose Hill, covered with fluro pink, purple and black splatter to match the logos. The logo has to be one of our favourite things, a fluro pink base with purple and black leopard print.

It's all finished with a 2k gloss clearcoat and finally a Ride Wrap gloss tailored paint protection film.

The Hope Tech dropper lever controls a One Up V3 dropper post. The cockpit is completed with a Burgtec handlebar, grip, and stem combo.

More goodness splater paint goodness protected with Ride Wrap.

The build is rounded out with a 140mm Pike Ultimate.
