Owned by David Prothero, a rafting guide based in Comox, BC, this build was organized through Comox Bike Co as a replacement for a well-loved Humu Humu. It's a long-term riding companion that David plans on owning for years.

At the heart of the build is a single-speed drivetrain, anchored by a Boone titanium cog out back. Lightweight, bombproof, and beautifully made its paired with Race Face cranks.

Rolling duties are handled by Race Face AR 30 rims, laced to Chris King hubs. There's more CK bling in the form of a Chris King bottom bracket and headset.

Up front, a Fox 36 Factory fork takes the edge off rough terrain while still preserving the direct, connected feel that makes the Honzo ESD what it is. A Fox Transfer dropper post handles the ups and downs. Stopping power comes from Magura Trail brakes,

Up in the cockpit, Whisky handlebars keep things comfortable and composed, balancing strength and ride feel for long days in the saddle.
