Josh Weinberg at Escape Collective just dropped his review of the all-new Hei Hei CR, calling it “a do-it-all platform” that blends XC efficiency with trail-ready confidence. He says the latest Hei Hei is “more of a light-duty trail bike” that’s equally at home on fast local laps or big mountain days.
“After my time with it, I would not hesitate to recommend the Hei Hei to someone who wants a do-it-all platform, incorporating some light racing into their repertoire, but with a greater focus on trail riding and adventuring. Dually at home on local trails and in bigger mountain environments, I can envision someone loading up a Hei Hei to tackle portions of something like Orogenesis or Colorado Trail.”
