I don't know why it has taken us so long to share Noah Hofmann's epic Process X pre-production frame build with you. The bike is pretty darn special and hopefuly you would have seen him shredding it in the release video for the alloy Process X bikes last year. If not, there's a little refresher above. If you just want to look at the build, keep scrolling!
Noah's build sitting pretty in a Leogang paddock.
Kicking things off in the drive train department, Noah has gone for a SRAM / Shimano mix of parts, with a SRAM Descendent crankset matched up with a Shimano XT rear derailleur and SRAM Eagle cassette. The chain guide is from Reverse Components.
Noah's wheels are from his main component sponsor Reverse Components and are their BASE hubs mated to their Blackone rims in chrome finish, he's running a 27.5" out the back and a 29" up front. Both front and rear wheels are shod with Schwalbe Magic Mary tires.
For suspension Noah has opted for Italian brand EXT, sporting their Aria air shock out the back and their ERA v2 fork up front.
It's an all Reverse Components affair in the cockpit with a Blackone stem, handlebar and grips coupled with a Reverse Fort Will Style saddle, seat post and clamp.
The build is rounded off with a set of always reliable Shimano XT brakes.
