Kona Dream Builds: Josies Retro Inspired Race Ready Process 134

Kona 4-Cross specialist and Pro Development rider Josie McFall put together this absolutely stunning Process 134 27.5 race-ready bike for 2024. It seems only fitting with yesterdays news that this is the perfect Dream Build to kick off this new chapter of Kona.

Josie has kept the stock RockShox Pike Select and RockShox Deluxe suspension. For the drivetrain the cranks are 175m Hope Evo's with a Hope R22 36t chainring mated to a Shimano Road 11-25 cassette out the back with a Shimano saint Shifter/ Zee Mech. The chain guide is Hope Slick shorty chain guide and the pedals are Hope's Gravity Union clipless pedals.

Stopping power is provided by a set of Hope super powerfull Tech 4 X2’s with 160mm Hope floating rotors front and rear.

Josies bike is set up mullet, with a 26" wheel out the back and a 27.5.  Both wheels are Hope Fortus rims laced to Hope Pro 5 hubs with a Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.4 in the rear and a Schwalbe Magic Mary 2.4 up front.

In the cockpit you'll find a Burgtec Ride Wide 30mm rise handlebar with Burgtec Bartender Soft grips anchored with a Hope TR 40mm stem. It all spins on a Hope Pic N Mix headset.

The saddle is a small Gusset S2 sitting on top of a Burgtec Carbon Post, a Hope Bolt on clamp keeps things tight.

And those epic Graphics are courtesy of ENV Graphics and the whole thing was made a reality by the crew at BMXCoatings.
