On Sep 28th, the North Shore Mountain Bike Association hosted a TwentyFiver race, in partnership with Lynn Valley Bikes, and Beere Brewing.
The weather played ball giving the event perfect riding conditions for the larger stages of the TwentyFiver race. Stage one started with epic velvet dirt on 7th Secret down the hill ending at the bottom of Kinkford. Riders raced back up for Stage two on a North Shore favourite; Expresso.
Kona's own Matt Stevens, riding a Honzo ESD, and Steve De Jongh, riding the new G3 Process 153 CR/DL, took to the trails to put up their own fastest times against some of the Shore’s most ambitious Fiver Series racers.
Delicious burritos and brews were provided by Beere Brewing and the space was hosted by Lynn Valley Bikes in North Vancouver.
A portion of the entry fee was donated to the Indigenous Youth Mountain Bike Program.
