The Stinky Dual-Uxe Brings the Heat to Whatcom World Cup Round 4

The Stinky Dual-Uxe Brings the Heat to Whatcom World Cup Round 4

Over 140 racers. Hand-smashed burgers. Cold brews. A live DJ. And some of the best dual slalom racing Galbraith’s seen in years. Round four of the Whatcom World Cup lit up the hill with the Kona Stinky Dual-Uxe, a purpose-built track that delivered fast, rowdy racing and an all-time party atmosphere.

Kona Bikes proudly hosted the event as part of the Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition’s WWC race series, which helps raise money for local trail building and advocacy. From setup to teardown, Kona staff and volunteers poured everything into making it a night to remember, and the community showed up in force.

The racing was tight, the heckling was loud, and the stoke was high. Whether you were battling through the brackets, flipping burgers, or posted up trackside with a cowbell and a brew, you helped make it a true celebration of grassroots mountain biking.

Huge thanks to WMBC for everything they do, Gruff Brewing for keeping the taps flowing, and everyone who came out to support trails and good times. This is what it's all about. See you next round.
