Kona UnPacked: Olle Mølgaard Bang's 2022 Kona Rove DL

For Olle Mølgaard Bang, his Kona Rove is more than just a bike. It’s how he carves out time for adventure between work, family, and the rhythm of everyday life. From Denmark to Sweden, solo missions to the occasional group ride, this Rove handles it all. It’s light enough for hiking trails, solid on the gravel, and set up for bikepacking trips that stretch from three days to ten.

“Bikepacking is what makes me tick,” Olle says. “It’s how I experience nature and clear my head.”

"This Kona Rove has taken me on numerous adventures in Denmark and Sweden. It's packed lightly and tightly enough to handle hiking trails and chews up miles of gravel, too. I often go on solo trips ranging from three to ten days to fit into a busy family life with kids. Occasionally, I go on social rides too and enjoy it immensely, even though the logistics of it are often a little more complicated."

Olle's Rove DL is rocking a home-made stainless steel mini front rack, with an Alpkit 10L front roll bag sitting firmly on top of it. The saddle bag is from the Fjällräven/Specialized collab project, and the frame bag is an extra-large Revelate Designs Ripio.

Up in the cockpit, Olle has got a set of Profile Designs aerobar clip-ons. He's also sporting two Alpkit stemcell feed bags.
