Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive, detail-driven Administrative and Credit Assistant to join the Kona team. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our global business, ensuring efficient office management while maintaining strong financial relationships with our network of dealers and distributors.

You will oversee the day-to-day administrative functions at headquarters, help manage accounts receivable and support the team where needed.

Key Responsibilities

Office Administration

• Oversee all office operations to ensure seamless communication and organization across departments (sales, finance, customer service, and warehousing). 
• Open and scan daily mail
• Back up other personnel when needed

Credit Assistant

• Take checks to bank to deposit when they come in 
• Post daily deposits for both Canada and USA
• Track and update bank spreadsheets
• Run credit cards and process ACH payments
• Communicate with customers about account status

Financial Reporting

• Support year-end audit and assist with financial compliance tasks. 

Dealer Relations

• Serve as a key liaison for dealer inquiries related to invoicing, credit, shipments, and account standing. 
• Support Kona’s global dealer base with clear, professional communication and timely issue resolution.
• Collaborate with sales and logistics to ensure smooth delivery and fulfillment of dealer orders.

Requirements

• Some experience in office administration, credit/collections, and accounting 
• Knowledge of financial systems and ERP tools (ie. Acumatica)
• Strong Excel knowledge
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Self-motivated • Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities
• Passion for bicycles and the Kona brand is a strong asset
• Able to travel to the USA Office when required
