Longtime Kona rider Markus Zieher dropped this epic Process 134 DL build on his personal Instagram last week, and we knew we had to share it. Over the years, plenty of riders have turned the Process 134 into a playful slopeduro rig, and each one has its own flavor. Markus’s latest build is no exception.
Markus has the bike built up as a single speed, with possibly the coolest-looking chain tensioner and chain ring. Both are from German brand Reverse Components. Up front he's spec'd a 165mm SRAM GX Transmission crankset, with a KMC X10 SL chain and a home-made rubber crankstopper. Pedals are Deity Components Supervillain's (with fewer pins to move the feet easier on the pedals)
Braking is looked after with a set of SRAM's new powerful Maven Ultimate Stealth stoppers. Handlebars are Deity Components Blacklabel 38's, with Ergon GFR1 Factory grips.
Suspension is a Rock Shox affair, with Rock Shock Lyrik Ultimate fork up front and Rock Shox Deluxe Ultimate rear shock out back. The wheels are Hope Pro 5 hubs laced to Hope Fortus 30 SC 27.5“ rims. The rear wheel is shod with a Schwalbe Nobby Nic and up front, you'll find a Schwalbe Hans Dampf, both are set up with lightweight Aerothan inner tubes.
The stem is ever popular Deity Components Copperhead 35
The build is rounded out with a Deity seat collar and an Ergon SM Team saddle.
