It’s been a while since I built my last Unit, but once I got on this one, it felt immediately at home. In my opinion, the Unit is the perfect all-around bike, capable of tackling IMBA epic trails or cruising local gravel roads fully loaded for a week-long trip. It’s compliant where it needs to be and wants to go as fast or slow as you desire. As a shop owner, it’s my go-to for everything.

Some build highlights:
- Unit frame
- Columbus Futura Adventure fork
- Son dynamo front hub laced to Stans Flow MK4 rims
- Stans Flow MK4 rear wheel
- Sram X01 shifter and derailleur
- Sunrace cassette for its wider range (I prefer it over the SRAM version)
- GX Eagle cranks
- PNW Loam pedals
- PNW Loam dropper post
- Thomson X4 stem with Whisky Carbon Scully bars
- TRP Trail EVO brakes
- K-Light dynamo light with charging system
- Zefal frame pump
- Road Runner Burrito bag
- Safety triangle
