Jan from the very MTB friendly HarzBNB in Andreasberg, Germany, has just finnished putting the final touches on his stunning Team Operator CR 29. The build is fully custom, but the biggest standout feature, is that head turning paint. Keeping things very German, Jan chose Porsche Orange Pearl paint for the frame and fork, opting for contrasting white decals. While not for everyone, we think it looks pretty damn stunning.
Diving into the build, we may as well kick things off with the drivetrain and wheels. SRAM XO1 cranks are mated to a SRAM GX rear derailleur and XO DH cassette and a e13 Vario DH chain guide keeps everything in place. Chis King hubs are then laced to ENVE M930 rims, the front wheel is shod with a Continental Argotal and the rear Continental Kryptotal.
The rear shock is a Rock Shox Super Deluxe.
Up front Jan has spec'd a 2024 200mm Rock Shox Boxxer Ultimate.
Stopping power is provided by Shimano Saint brakes mated to Galfer 200mm rotors.
The cockpit is a Deity affair with a Blacklabel 31.8 handlebar mounted on a Deity Intake Direct Mount stem. The grips are Deathgrip's from DMR.
The build is rounded out with a Deity seatpost and Deity Sidetrack saddle and a set of DMR Brendog Vault pedals.
