Kona Dream Builds: Caleb Holonko's Remote X

It seems only appropriate that after launch the Remote X and Remote 160 DL earlier this week that we take a closer look at the exact bike that Caleb Holonko was riding in the launch video. Caleb built his Remote X with the best parts from his long time sponsors into one seriously dreamy and capable bike.

The bike is propelled by Shimano's EP8 motor, but Caleb has done his very best to showcase his SRAM partnership. Out of necessity he's gone with a Sram T-Type 104 BCD chainring which is then mated to a full SRAM XO T-type electronic drivetrain.

For suspension Caleb went with RockShox latest incarnation of the classic Vivid Air Ultimate shock.

Thats matched to a bright red 180mm RockShox Zeb Ultimate fork up front.

Stopping comes courtesy of a set of powerful SRAM Maven Silver brakes and HS2 Rotors.

In the cockpit, everything hangs of a CAST handlebar which is held in pace with a Truvative Descendant 40mm stem, the ODI Elite Pro grips keep Caleb's hands in place while SRAM AXS remotes operate the rear derailleur and the 175mm RockShox Reverb AXS dropper post.

The build is topped off with a set of ENVE M60 rims laced to gold Chris King hubs. The wheels are shod with a classic Maxxis Minion/Asegai combo.
