Kona Factory rider Caleb Holonko just built up a fresh bone white Shonky, and it’s looking so good, that cherry-red RockShox Pike DJ up front is pure candy. Caleb’s running the short frame with the rear end slammed, a 34T x 14T combo for tight transitions, and 2.5” Maxxis Hookworms at 70 PSI for smooth speed on pump tracks and park concrete.
It’s comfy, poppy, and already logging serious air miles.
Caleb’s running 165mm SRAM XO cranks with a 34T chainring and 14T SS cog out back, connected by a KMC single-speed chain that keeps things tight and simple. The wheels are DT Swiss EX471s laced to DT Swiss 350 hubs, wrapped in classic Maxxis Hookworm Tires.
Up front Caleb is rocking a very sexy Boxxer red Pike DJ (200PSI, 4 clicks rebound, from closed, LSC adjustment set at half open). The bike is running a 35MM X 700mm Cast SFX Bar mounted to a 45mm Cast EFX Stem. The cockpit is complete with a Chris King headset and a set of Odyssey Broc Raiford Grips
The build is completed with a SRAM Code RSC Rear Brake, a Chromag Overture LTD Saddle and Chromag Pressure Pedals.
