Kona Ambassador Ben Gerrish has finished building this 2023 Process X, we are pretty sure it the first custom dream build built on a production Process X alloy frame and boy does his build do this thing justice! It began life as a stock Process X less than two weeks ago but has seen almost a total parts overhaul with bits from Ben’s other sponsors like Hope and Teravail. Dig in for more details and a ton of juicy photos.

Ben thought It would be rude not utilize the bikes UDH and opted for SRAM GX AXS Transmission rear derailleur, that’s combined with a set of Hope 155mm cranks up front.

A stealth black Rock Shox Zeb Ultimate handles suspension duties up front while a Rock Super Deluxe Ultimate handles the rear.

Stopping power is provided by Hope Tech 4 E4 brakes and levers.

A Hope Gravity 35 x 35 stem holds the 800mm wide Burgtec Ride High 50 handlebars firmly in place.

Hope F22 pedals provide grip for feet and holes for shins.

A Hope Dropper Lever activates a 240mm travel One Up Components dropper post. It is worth pointing out right here that this is a size medium frame.

The bike rolls on a mullet set of Hope Pro 5 Fortus wheels with Teravail Kessel tires – 29×2.6 27.5×2.5.
