Big Bike Reviews The Remote 160 CR

“The Kona Remote 160 CR is playful, predictable, and full of grip.” Quentin Derbier at French publication Big Bike Magazine has published his in-depth test of the Remote 160 CR, praising its balanced geometry, lively suspension, and confidence-inspiring handling. He was particularly impressed by how easily the bike moves through technical terrain, with a responsive front end, plenty of traction, and a great balance of stability and agility. The review also highlights the fun factor of switching to a mullet setup, with a 29-inch front wheel and 27.5-inch rear.

The Remote 160 CR impressed across everything from technical climbs and tight corners to fast descents, with its predictable handling making it easy to push harder and ride with confidence. Big Bike also praised the RockShox Lyrik Ultimate fork and Shimano Free Shift technology, which allows riders to change gears while coasting.
