My name is Heiko Krause, and I’m from Smithers in Northern British Columbia. I have been riding bikes since the age of two. I am driven to spread the love and knowledge I have for bikes no matter where I am. The outdoors has always been a part of my life, and I am passionate about riding bikes. For this season I’ll be doing a film project with a local filmer, racing the Canada Cup and participating in Crankworx events. Whether I am on a racetrack or on a trail ride with my friends, I am always loving every second of it! I have always loved the way that Kona has impacted the mountain bike world and I am so excited to be a part of the team.

I’m influenced by the mountain biking community as a whole. I seem to take influence from a ton of different people and try to learn from them as much as I can!
GOALS FOR THIS YEAR
My goals for this season are to make it to Mount Sainte-Anne to race my first World Cup and to ride with my friends and have more fun on my bike than anyone ever!
