My name is Austin Beard, I’m 18 years old and I live In Montpelier, Vermont. I’ve been riding and racing bikes for my entire life, and I absolutely love it. Right now, my main focus is XCO racing, but I’ve thrown myself into lots of enduros and a few gravel events over the years. This summer I plan to continue hitting UCI XCO races across North America, dipping my feet into some World Cup racing, and hitting up EWS Burke and maybe EWS Sugarloaf depending on if I can qualify for World Championships!

I would say my biggest influence would be Christopher Blevins. Watching him win short track world championships in person was really special and inspiring.
GOALS FOR THIS YEAR
My biggest goals for 2022 would be to dip my feet into XCO World Cup racing, and hopefully qualifying for world championships in Les Gets, France!
