I’m a Sea-to-Sky local. I lived in Pemberton until I was 12 and then relocated to Squamish, where I live now. People are constantly saying how rare it is to meet a true local, but I guess if you’re a true local you know all the locals…and it’s not that weird. My love has always been the feeling you get when going fast, so growing up it was all about finding speed and new ways to obtain it. I’ve spent the last 10 years of my life chasing speedy dreams around the world, discovering the feelings of failure, regret and what broken bones feel like; but more importantly confidence, inclusion and in my eyes, success. Although my time with Kona is still very much in its beginnings, I feel a part of the club!

RIDING WITH KONA SINCE2019
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE KONA IN YOUR QUIVER AND WHY?My Process X. I like the adjustability of the chain stay length and the ability to run it in mullet or 29’’ with a simple flip chip. I did however just build up a Libre and that is pretty exciting as it’s my first gravel bike!
WHERE ARE YOU FROM AND WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
I lived in Pemberton until I was 12 (2002) and then moved to Squamish with my family and haven’t left! Pretty lucky to be born raised in the Sea-to-Sky.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE KONA OF ALL TIME AND WHY? (YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE TO HAVE OWNED IT)
The 2005 Stab Supreme that Fabien Barel raced on.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS SEASON?
I have a lot of things to look forward to for 2022. The season will be structured differently for me and I’m looking forward to some new experiences! In particular, got a pretty fun trip planned with Caleb Holonko to Revolution Bike Park.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TRACK/RACE OF 2021 (DOESN’T HAVE TO BE IN A RACE) AND WHY?
My favourite race venue was Crans-Montana in Switzerland. A sick bike park with high speed, off camber, loam, as well as jumps and drops.
WHO HAS MOST INFLUENCED YOU?
Influencers. I tune in to social media and I just absorb and purchase and change my personality on what I see.
Just kidding. I think my boyfriend, Remi Gauvin, has been the most influential. It’s cool to have similar experiences but with different perspectives.
WHAT WAS THE LAST GIFT YOU RECEIVED?
RAB hut slippers. Feet will forever be warm.
IF YOU WERE A CEREAL, WHICH WOULD YOU BE & WHY?
Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Just good company after a few beers.
HOW WOULD YOUR LOCAL COFFEE BARISTA DESCRIBE YOU IN THREE WORDS?
Remi is my local barista so I guess he’d describe me as demanding.
2021 STARTED TO FEEL NORMAL AGAIN, CAN YOU SHARE WITH US ONE HIGHLIGHT AND LOWLIGHT?
Last thing you Found?
I honestly don’t know… But when I was 10 I found $150 at the Whistler Boston Pizza which was very exciting for a child my age, but when I got home my mom made me donate it to the Food Bank.
Last album you purchased?
Last album I downloaded was Cocoa Sugar, by Young Fathers.
Last account you unfollowed on Instagram?
I honestly don’t know…I try to limit my time these days.
Last promise you made?
I don’t make promises.
Last podcast or audio book you listened to?
Last podcast was the Daily and my current audio book is The Secret Commonwealth by Philip Pullman. It’s Volume 2 of The Book of Dust trilogy. If you’re familiar with the Golden Compass, Subtle Knife or Amber Spyglass, this series is the prequel and sequel to that trilogy. Last book I read was The Great Believers and I just started Educated.
Last thing you googled?
How is gas made?

Last time you were scared?
At this Halloween party, there was this sort of crazy guy around and I was scared to go to the outhouse alone.
