It’s not often that we see Roadhouse Dream Builds, the original Road House was sporting some pretty damn awesome paint out of the bike and didn’t really need a whole lot of upgrading to make it dreamy. But Ludwig has gone and done it!
“I put quite a lot of thought into this build. This is my 2016 Kona Roadhouse – the paint job was designed and carried out by yours truly. It is a bit of a homage to the 2018 Kona Roadhouse, which I could never get my hands on. It is one of a kind. I built up the entire bike by myself. A few parts were carried over from the old build, but a large part are new.”

Ludwigs Roadhouse is powered by a set of Shimano Ultegra R8000 cranks with a pair of Absolute Black Oval chainrings (46/30), the very bling KMC X11 Ti-N Gold Chain mates to an e-thirteen XCX Plus 9-34 cassette. that funky Seatpost is a Tune Leichtes Stück 27.5 with a Selle SMP F20C s.i. saddle.
The cockpit is built around a 42cm Zipp SL 70 XPLR handlebar with Supacaz Camo bar tape, the handlebar is held in place by a 120mm Tune Geiles Teil 4.0 stem. It all spins smoothly on a Hope Headset. Shimano 105 levers pull up on Deore XT RT-MT800 rotors.
