Hannah hails from Hood River, Oregon. Her passion for riding comes from her dad who is also an avid biker and racer. He kick started her addiction by giving her his old mountain bike in high school. After moving to Bellingham for college, Hannah fell in with the wrong right crowd at Kona bikes and became even more involved with the mountain biking scene. She competed in the pro class last year and came away with some awesome results including a 1st place finish at the Double-Down enduro in Spokane, and 3rd place overall for the Cascadia dirt cup series. She plans to race the CDC series again in 2018, and an Enduro World Series race in Whistler. Hannah shreds on the Process 153 because it best suits her fast, aggressive riding style (and it gets mad air for those jumps). When Hannah is not being a boss on the bike, she’s studying hard at Western Washington University, working at the Kona Bike Shop, or getting her adrenaline fix skiing, kiteboarding, or climbing.

GOALS FOR THE 2018 SEASON
Have a blast! Stay healthy and continue improving my strength on and off the bike. Improve my weaknesses (especially climbing/pedaling fitness). I have a few new jumps & drops on my list to hit this season... Road trip and explore some new places with friends. Some spots on the list are Utah, Arizona, and Sunshine Coast BC.
THREE THINGS WE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU
I'm a bit of a nerd/bookworm. I really enjoy school and am currently an undergrad student at WWU studying kinesiology and Spanish. I also obsessively listen to podcasts.
I grew up downhill skiing and competed in some national freestyle events in high school before I got into mountain biking. I spend lots of time in the winter skiing up at Mt. Baker and Mt. Hood.
I'm a morning person... like 5:30am morning person. I love waking up early and going to the gym or a bike ride first thing, then getting some coffee and reading before I head to work or school.
FAVORITE MOMENT OF 2017
Gosh, so many good ones... I got to go on some rad bike trips last season. Some of my favorites include a trip to Orcas Island with all the ladies for the raddest bachelorette party and shred weekend. Another favorite was a late summer trip to ride in Squamish and Pemberton BC. We got to explore and ride some gnarly high-alpine trails. All of the races I went to last year were a blast, especially the one in my hometown of Hood River. An awesome crew of us rallied down from Bellingham in the obnoxiously large Kona truck, partied down at my parents' house, and rode/raced/shuttled some of my all-time favorite trails where I grew up riding bikes. I can't wait to do it again this spring!
