Long time Kona Ambassador Markus Zieher recently got his hands on a Process X DH and went about building himself the ultimate park bike. The result is one of the coolest custom Process X builds we've seen yet. Markus put together a singlespeed, mullet, freeride beast of a bike and calls it his "2024 Stinky". Lets take a closer look!
Up front Markus has swapped the stock fork for a 190mm Rock Shox Boxxer Ultimate.
Out the back he's opted for Rock Shox Super Deluxe Coil Ultimate.
Markus has gone single speed with his build and opted for Reverse Componenets super tider X SB One Chain Tensioner, adding a touch of class with a KMC X9 SL Ti-N gold chain.
One of the few items left from the original build are the Race Face Aeffect 165mm cranks and MRP Chain Guide, but Markus has added the STFU DH on the chainstay, it keeps the chain safe and silent.
The stoppers are Magura's powerful MT7, HC-W Levers with 203mm MDR-P Rotors.
The wheels a the stock WTB ST i30 TCS 2.0 Rims with Formula Hubs and they are shod with a Schwalbe Big Betty 27.5 x 2.4 out back and a Schwalbe Magic Mary 29 x 2.4 up front.
The cockpit is a mix of Deity and Ergon components, A Deity Intake stem clamps a Deity Black Label 38mm rise bar in place, while Ergon GDH Team grips ensure Markus' hands stay where they need to be. Theres more Ergon in the way of the saddle which is there top of the line ERGON SM Enduro Comp Men - Team Edition.
